As Christians we all should aspire to live as Christ lived. While it is certain we are all sinners and not perfect, we should still strive to emulate His compassion and His love. We should consistently seek out the Father with all our heart and be sensitive to the Holy Spirits will for our lives.
Yet, we are human. We have tendencies to worry and fear. Our faith is challenged by Satan on a daily basis. We have bills to pay, mouths to feed and illness to think about. At times it seems like the world is moving at a pace we cannot keep up with. We are faced with an ever increasing number of difficult decisions that sometimes overwhelm us. It may even feel as if we are so beaten down we can barely find the strength to go on.
Take heart friend!
We serve a wonderful Savior that is moved by our afflictions. He knows what we are going through and He desires to help us. He has promised NEVER to leave us.
The Lord tells us in Isaiah chapter 40 that He will give power to the those that are faint. If we are patient and wait on Him, He will renew our strength. We will run and not be weary. We will walk and not faint. With God’s help the Bible tells us we will “… mount up with wings as eagles…”
No matter how difficult live becomes at times we need not fear or worry. Our Lord God is the everlasting God and the Creator of the ends of the earth. He never grows weary of watching over us. He never slumbers or sleeps. There is no searching of His understanding. And if we sincerely ask Him to, He will give us a glorious peace that passes all human understanding and trancends any situation we may be experiencing.
What an awesome truth. It truly boggles my mind at times that our Heavenly Father would care so much as to never let us out of His careful and loving sight. Not even for a moment. Before we were ever born He knew us and we were on His mind and in His heart.
So once again, be of good cheer and take heart friend. Spread your wings and soar like the eagles with the knowledge and promise of God’s everlasting care and love for you.
If have not yet accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as your own personal Saviour you cannot experience the comfort of His promises. But there is hope, and if you are reading this right now it is not too late! God tells us that if we believe and call upon the name of His Son Jesus Christ we will be saved.
Please take a moment now to recognize that all of us are sinners. But God in His great love and mercy sent His Son Jesus into the world to die on the cross and pay the final price for our sins that we might be saved.
Jesus has long since risen from the grave and is coming again for all who believe. He now sits at the right hand of God the Father and is waiting just for you to accept His free gift of Salvation.
